Deliver Healthcare Anywhere with Fax over IP: Webinar for Hospital Leaders

Interbit Data will host a webinar on Tuesday, October 20, to share how virtual fax over IP (FoIP) options are revolutionizing the way hospitals and health systems deliver care.

The webinar, “Deliver Healthcare Anywhere with Fax over IP,” will highlight a case study from one hospital in rural Wyoming that uses Interbit Data’s NetFoIP solution (a NetDelivery module) to enable its orthopedic specialists to deliver care to a wider geographic area. Because of NetFoIP, the hospital is able to send orthopedic specialists up to 200 miles away, where they can rent temporary office space, which prevents patients from needing to travel several hours to the hospital for post-surgical follow ups and eliminating the need for a full office setup including costly and cumbersome equipment such as physical printers and fax machines.

“Our mission at Interbit Data is to make healthcare data accessible anytime, anywhere, to empower frontline care workers to deliver safe, high-quality care,” says Arthur Young, President and CEO of Interbit Data. “This case study is a perfect example of that mission, in this case illustrating how NetfoIP enables this rural health systems to keep their doors open and helps to extend specialist care to communities who otherwise would lack access. Our products help both patients and businesses and push the boundaries and limitations of healthcare.”

Interbit Data’s NetFoIP, a NetDelivery module, provides completely virtualized faxing, enabling hospitals to improve operational efficiency, remove hardware constraints, and create automatic fail-over configurations. NetFoIP provides software-enabled fax over IP (FoIP) without requiring an existing voice over IP (VoIP) network or phone system. NetFoIP allows hospitals to:

  • Transmit IP-enabled faxes even without Voice over IP (VoIP)
  • Remove or consolidate fax machines and modems, reducing equipment and maintenance costs and eliminating hardware failures
  • Manage all incoming faxes in Microsoft Windows directories using NetFoIP’s optional Inbound Fax Client

Hospitals and health system leaders, healthcare IT vendors, industry consultants and members of the media are invited to attend the upcoming webinar:
