Arthur is a visionary healthcare information systems entrepreneur who has focused Interbit Data’s offerings on providing secure and reliable methods of connecting users with HCIS information. Prior to founding Medical Systems Solutions (the precursor to Interbit Data) in 1997, Arthur spent ten years with MEDITECH and three years at JJWild. Arthur holds a BA from Boston University and MSW and MBA degrees from Washington University.

Steve McDonald
President
Steve has a proven track record of growing high-performing teams and developing executive client relationships across the industry. His experience includes enterprise EMR sales and implementations and leading strategic consulting engagements with Academic Medical centers and IDNs. Previous executive leadership positions include posts at MEDITECH and Cerner (now Oracle) and consulting roles at Beacon Partners (now KPMG) and Impact Advisors. Steve graduated with a BS from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin.
Amy Heffernan
VP of Client Strategy
Amy has 30 Years of experience as a proven healthcare account and business executive. Her strengths are generating revenue growth, building trusted relationships, and achieving total client satisfaction. Previously she has worked for MEDITECH, TSI/Eclipsys, Summit Healthcare Services, and Philips Population Health division. Currently, in her role as a Vice President of Client Strategy, she works with Interbit Data’s existing client base to expand relationships while lending knowledge to best practices in downtime business continuity & cyber crises while strategizing to connect clinicians to patients.

Walter has a proven track record of Sales, Marketing and Business expertise. His experience includes healthcare enterprise EMR/ERP sales and implementations across the continuum of care. Previous positions include posts at MEDITECH, Infor(Lawson) and Healthland. Walter graduated with a BS from Providence College
Alex Konstansky, MBA
Director of Implementation
Alex has 18+ years of experience in the medical information technology industry, Alex leads a team of application specialists that implement Interbit Data solutions. His strengths are innovative problem solving, expert product knowledge, perspective taking, collaboration, and interpersonal communications. Alex has a BS in microbiology from UMass Amherst and an MBA from Framingham State University
Brian Main
Chief Technology Officer
Brian leads the technical side of Interbit Data which includes development, implementation, support, and documentation. He plays an active role in developing software solutions for healthcare facilities. In addition, Brian focuses on features and upgrades that will enable healthcare providers to save time and secure data as they work with patient information and records. Brian spent three years with MEDITECH before starting at Interbit Data, more than 15 years ago.
Dave Miller
Chief Security Officer
David Miller is an internationally known security thought leader named by Fortune as an “identity visionary.” He has more than 20 years of experience in identity management and information security and in his most recent Chief Security role at Covisint was responsible for internal and external system architecture security issues.
Miller also directed the identity management offering at Covisint, which secures access for automotive, healthcare, energy, and government customers. Miller has spoken at numerous conferences in various industries and has also testified before the U.S. Senate regarding e-prescribing of controlled substances (testimony which helped shape new laws). Miller has been with Covisint since its inception, architecting its federation solutions and implementing the first identity network for the auto industry. A visionary in FIAM, Miller has built Covisint’s INFOSEC organization, developed policies and procedures for information security and helped design secure solutions for product offerings.
Miller has more than 20 years’ experience in the information technology and automotive industries. Prior to Covisint, he served as Director of Operations for GM TradeXchange, managing the implementation and architecture of GM’s automotive exchange. Previously, Miller was Chief Architect for Secureway, an IBM division that provided security to e-business initiatives. His GM experience also includes being Director of Technology for Dascom (later purchased by IBM) and his many years as an Enterprise Architect at EDS in Detroit, where he supported GM business systems. He chaired the HIPAA Compliance Work Group and is a member of the Executive Security Action Forum.
