Parkview Medical Center provides quality health care to residents of Pueblo and southeastern Colorado.
Parkview was looking for a way for its physicians, care providers, and other hospital staff to access information contained within the hospital’s EHR – MEDITECH – remotely, as well as to distribute necessary reports. They needed to be able to access this information securely, anywhere, at any time.
“Getting at the information in the MEDITECH system is a critical requirement,” said Ann Bellah, physician information systems analyst for Parkview Medical Center. “Our previous solution had many problems.”
To overcome this challenge, Parkview engaged with Interbit Data, using Interbit’s NetAccess solution, part of Interbit’s NetDelivery product suite. “NetAccess is a simple, straightforward product that was easy to install and set up. It basically runs itself. We are extremely happy with the ease of use of this product,” said Bellah.
Parkview was so pleased with how NetAccess improved its remote data access and communication processes that the hospital turned to Interbit to help solve other challenges, as well.
