Hardware Requirements

General Hardware Requirements for all NetSolutions Products

Minimum requirements:

• Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003
• Runs on 32 or 64 bit versions of the Windows operating system
• 3GB memory or above
• 80GB storage. Raid optional
• PCIe slot (at least 1 free slot for modem in NetDelivery and NetFax)

Recommended Fax Hardware

NetFax, NetFax C/S, Desktop Fax, NetDelivery and NetDelivery C/S will support almost any internal or external modem. In general high-quality modems from mainstream manufacturers should perform fine. The following modems (available from us) are recommended:

• Mainpine IQ Express™
  • PCI Express boards for compact-sized computers
  • Low-profile or Standard-profile brackets
  • 1, 2, 4 and 8-port configurations
  • V.34 fax / JBIG Compression
  • Supports Class 1, 1.0, 2.0 and 2.1

External Modems

• US Robotics 56K* V.92 External Faxmodem

Note: USB modems may work — be sure they include controllers and not “Winmodems”

Multi-port Adapters

• Digi Neo – Universal PCI (3.3V & 5V) with DB-25M fan-out cables (both 4 and 8 port models)
