Upgrades Fax Solution for MEDITECH
Natick, MA – July 24, 2007 – Interbit Data, a leading provider of secure and reliable access to information in the MEDITECH Hospital Information System, recently added Silver City, New Mexico based Gila Regional Medical Center to its growing list of clients.
Gila Regional Medical Center (GRMC) is one of the largest and most modern healthcare centers in New Mexico. The facility employees more than 600 and is considered to be southwest New Mexico’s medical hub. Dedicated in 1983, GRMC is growing at a steady pace.
With the increasing size of GRMC along with the continual need to upgrade their faxing system, the organization turned to Interbit Data’s NetFax to fulfill their transmittal needs. David Furnas, Chief Information Officer for GRMC installed NetFax which is now fully operational and being utilized throughout the hospital. “We implemented NetFax in April and our experience with Interbit data has been excellent”, commented David.
