Selects NetDelivery Integration Wizard for HL7 Support
Implements EMR Upload for easy Integration with Physician Practice Systems
Natick, MA – July 10, 2007 – Interbit Data, a leading provider of secure and reliable access to information in the MEDITECH Hospital Information System, recently signed on Alameda Hospital located in the San Francisco Bay area. Alameda is a 135-bed acute care district hospital serving the community of Alameda as well as surrounding towns and cities. This new customer adds to the continued and rapid growth of Interbit Data’s west coast client list.

Alameda plans to utilize NetDelivery to alleviate the auto faxing issues they have been experiencing. The HL7 EMR upload is the primary reason why Interbit Data was selected over the competitors. The NetDelivery Integration Wizard allows the user to take reports generated by the MEDITECH® HCIS and reformat them into HL7 messages allowing easy integration to specific Physician’s Practice EMRs.
NetDelivery, formerly NetPrint Plus, allows you to securely distribute reports from your organization’s information system via fax, encrypted print stream, encrypted file or email. NetDelivery is integrated with the MEDITECH faxing functions, but allows you to define (by user/location) whether to send the data as a fax, a file, an email, or a print out. Remote locations can have virtual printers via the Internet, which on demand, on schedule, or in real-time, retrieve data from your system. All connections are validated and all data passing through the Internet is encrypted using 128-bit encryption algorithms.
